Nvidia Builds Cheaper Blackwell GPU for China

Nvidia plans to produce a simplified, more affordable version of its Blackwell GPU for the Chinese market starting in June. Based on the RTX Pro 6000D and priced between $6,500 and $8,000, this new chip uses conventional memory instead of advanced TSMC technology. The move responds to U.S. export restrictions limiting China’s access to high-performance GPUs.
